My Grandmother, Laura Olson Melby is buried in South Gildford Lutheran Cemetary next to the Mabel Johnson farm. Laura was the Godmother of Mabel's sister and my Grandfather Saul Melby was a Deacon of the church. Also buried there are my Great Grandfather Olson and great Uncle Olson. We visited some years back and have thought of returning to visit Mabels' children who remain on the farm and in Kremlin. A wonderful feeling of history was felt on our last visit and seeing the remaining family buildings was of great importance to our children.
