Hobson --- One of two prospectors in the Belt Mountains west and south of here left his name on the town. Frank Hobson and J. S. Hobson found some gold in Yogo Gulch in the Belts, along with the first of the famed Yogo Gulch sapphires ever seen. Their reaction : ?What in hell is a sapphire??
