Plentywood --- Back in the open range days several cowpokes from the Diamond outfit nearby were trying to build a buffalo chip fire along a little creek. Rough old Dutch Henry finally growled: ?If you?ll go a couple of miles up this creek, you?ll find plenty wood.?They did, and the town got a name.
