You have a wonderful beginning with some of the local areas. I've been in Montana for 32 years, so even though I am personally an "Old-Timer"in years, just not a Miles City old-timer.

Grandparents John & Mary Pipinich lived in Opportunity and Anaconda 1900 - 1951. father, Robert Pipinich was born in Opportunity in 1917.
Grandparents James J & Edna (Underwood) Corcoran were born in Pocatello, ID and Chicago respectively.
They lived in Anaconda and Deer Lodge 1912 - 1922. My mother Elizabeth Jane Corcoran was born in Deer Lodge in 1921 and raised by an Aunt Mary Butler in Anaconda after they family was scattered in 1922 due to the early death of wif and mother, Ednau.
