we live on the other side of the hwy,where the orginal town was, a few of the sandstone buildings still stand.
along with cliff dwellings in bad repair, theres a gentlman in the town of round up who may be able to answer a question or 2 about the pics shown here. he came here in 48 klien was a wild town acording to him.

I live on the North Side of Bilings near Cobb Field. We think that the land where our house is was bought by Austin North in about 1906. He subdeveloped our entire area and built our house shortly after. We are interested in the history of our area and I am excited to have found this site!

Saw your page on Dooley MT w/pictures and narrative. Wanted to send on to my sister, but all presented would not print out, and all the narrative did not show up on your page. My sister recently went through where Dooley had been, but nothing was there.Is a complete page(s) available?

Just found your site and haven't had much time to browse, but being just north of Turner we feel we are neighbors, in fact in every visit to the US we enter your state first. Going west it seems the better part of the country belongs to Montana. My old father-in-law (emmigrated from UK at 84)loved it and never stopped calling it Montarna, no matter how many times I corrected him. Keep up the good work.
