I love you site!! I am currently doing geneology research so my children can see where all their ancestor's migrated from. I have several branches of the family tree that comes from Montana; two from the LonePine/Camas/Plains area, and one from Yellowstone Co. someplace out of Billings.
My maternal grandparents both were born & raised in Sanders Co. My Great Grandmother, Nellie Smith, came back to Montana with her sister where she (Nellie) homesteaded on her own at the turn of the century.
My paternal Grandfather was born outside of Billings in 1914 and lost both of his parents (Herbert Henry & Mary Margaret Brown) in the flu epidemic of 1918.
I will gather the stories for you and send them on once I can confirm the locations.
