Happened on to your website through Google. Interesting site. A good source of information on Hill County towns is "Grit, Guts, and Gusto, a History of Hill County" by the Hill County Bicentennial Commission, 1976. Has short histories on the following towns (some now extinct): Amos, Box Elder, Casady, Cottonwood, Fairchild, Fresno, Gildford, Goldstone, Havre, Hingham, Inverness, Kremlin, Laredo, Miller, Oldham, Rudyard, Simpson, Toledo. Also stories of early settlers. Page 88 has a map of early post offices and has many other towns shown that probably very few have heard of. Might be worth checking out at the library.

I am looking for any information on the Leonard Coulson family in the late 1890's and the early 1900's.
Leonard was married to Mattie M. Bradford. They had a daughter that was born in Cascade, Montana in 1915.
From there they move to the Pend Orielle area of Idaho. Where my mom met and married Victor Dahlke. They also lived in the Boise area of Montana.
Anything that you information that you have about Leonard and Mattie Coulson would be greatly appericated.

Im looking for information about my father birth place listed in his Bible as Ollie Montant 1917. His name was Alfred Chester Roppe.I never knew much of his childhood and now im tring to find out.If anyone has any information about the Roppe familys in this area I would appreciate any and allthat you can supply.
